// Amy & Jamie's BEaUtiful County Durham Wedding

Situated in Dalton Le Dale, near Seaham, Co. Durham, is this newly renovated Grade II listed Victorian pumping station which is full of CHARACTER and history, from serving the people of Seaham fresh water it now serves stunning brides to be as a dream venue that I would strongly advise you to consider. Sat empty since World War II, the owners have blown couples away with its tasteful and breathtaking renovation. Elegant and glamorous I am unable to fault the place and it is amongst one of the most impressive venues I have had the pleasure of visiting.

Amy first contacted me last year. She and her fiancé Jamie were looking for a photographer to produce light and airy images from their big day and our styles just matched. We met up, got on, and they booked. I'm a big believer in making sure couples are happy with me, as much as I'd love everyone to book me... I want them to feel comfortable around me too! A phone or video call goes a long way!

Now, anyone who knows me in the slightest knows I love my job, but I love it even more when I can take Rachael (The Wife) along with me as a second shooter. We were so stoked when Amy mentioned she wanted a first kiss shot from the overlooking balcony, and honestly, it did not disappoint. Dalton Old Pump House is a venue that delivers when it comes to variation, with its numerous floors and rooms, you are spoilt for choice for backdrops for your photos. A photographers dream!

Amy and Jamie are real people, so down to earth and so so much fun. Like so many of the weddings I've covered, we ended up sharing drinks and dancing together. I mean it when I say I get to know you!

This wedding was one to remember, a combination of a top-knotch couple and an accommodating and beautiful venue helped me produce some of my favourite images to date. See for yourself!
